Welcome to World History! This is were we will look at cause and effect and how the actions of the past have helped shape the world today. Using this blog, all homework, quizzes, and test announcements will be posted here. anytime there is an assignment due you will receive a reminder for where to find the information and the instructions on how to do them.

Be aware that I will lock all comments to the blog post. If you have any questions, you are free to ask me in class or you can send me a quick message through Remind and I will answer it as best I can. I hope we can make this a good year!

Week of 12/4/2017

Homework Due Period 1: Due 12/11 Period 8: Due 12/12 Map of Tang Dynasty. along with identification of Tributary States. Topic 3 Lesson 2 using the Pearson e-text book accessed through the student portal Assessment Questions at the end of the lesson as well as Key Terms. Edit for 12/4/17 - I apologize I made a mistake: Students have been assigned the Interactive Notepad to complete in OneNote. To access the interactive notepad students must log in to the e-textbook and click on the classes tab in order to access.

The Roman Empire and its Downfall

This week we are getting to know each other and how high school will work for you this year. The assignments are as follows. 1st Period World History : Access the Review Chapter on Ancient Civilizations and read the assignments I have assigned to you. Take notes and write down any questions you may have on the topic. there are two sections to read Due by Friday 8/25 8th Period World History : you have been assigned the same readings Your readings will be Due by Monday 8/28.

Emergency Procedures

Students, just in case precautions are taken because of the COVID-19, I have set up Google Classroom and will initiate Google Hangouts to continue to lecture and teach during the school closures. Please Pay attention to the following codes. You have also been inputted into Microsoft Team rooms by Subject. In the Team Room’s you will have your own digital notebook where I can view and grade your assignments LIVE. Please make sure you are adhering to the schedules as follows. Google Classroom will be a backup for all resources such as, but not limited to: PDF Versions of the Textbooks (AP and Honors World, and U.S. History), PowerPoints and Study Guides (AP and Honors World). (4 th period, you have access to Pearson online and I will be giving you assignments through Pearson to complete in your digital notebook.) At the end of the week (per the school closing down, if it comes to that.) You will ALL be given an assessment to be counted towards the Fourth nine-week grading period....
